Ableton lets you know if with Master Made Studios, as the moment you open your session in the arrangement view and the status bar at the bottom of your session. Muted samples can be fixed sample and select it.

10 Ableton Tricks I Wish I Knew Earlier... (now you will)So I am running live lite 8 and when I try to import a song for this mixtape I am working on it immediately deactivates the clip. In Session View, when I right-click on a currently-playing 8-bar audio clip and choose "Deactivate" (or press "0"), it'll mute that clip. Selecting a note and pressing the number, �0� will deactivate that note. What this means is, the note will still be in your clip if you decide.
